A great value for money stylish laptop with good battery life and performance.

This laptop certainly gives a lot of bang for your buck, but where do I start?

It has a sturdy build and a nice metallic style, with everything laid out in a simple and easy to understand way. It is fairly lightweight and not too cumbersome to carry around. It also stays very cool while in use, whilst using a quiet fan. The trackpad and keyboard are unfaultable, and the speakers are of a good quality for a laptop. The battery life is also good, although you will not get 8 hours, closer to 6.

It's extremely fast, booting in 30 seconds, shutting down in 10 seconds, and going in and out of sleep almost instantaneously. Everyday tasks like web browsing and word processing are also zippy. The sheer fact it had a 512MB dedicated graphics card shocked me. The Sims 3 and Spore ran perfectly at high detail with no problems, so most old games will probably run perfectly. The more graphically demanding games Dawn Of War 2 and Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 required lower quality settings but were still playable. HD content runs very smoothly.

Overall this laptop is a bargain for the specs and I would recommend it anyone purchasing in the £400-£500 bracket.
