This laptop is the Acer Extensa 4220-101G08Mi. The extensa is a new model from acer and although they have been working on it for over a year now it wasn t until a few months ago that these laptops went on sale. For normal users this machine packs a punch in terms of processor and RAM, the graphics are very good, on board comms including bluetooth, WiFi and plenty of USB ports too, ...

Now I don t know a vast amount about laptops, but by and large I have been very impressed. First, the basics. Personally I reckon it looks a lot better than many laptops in the price range (which is obviously an important factor to consider!) but more importantly it is very easy to use with a comfortable keyboard layout and fairly good touchpad, although it still drives me nuts so I use a remote USB mouse most of the time. It even has extra "productivity keys" on the keyboard so you can quickly open ...
