I purchased this laptop 3 or 4 years ago, mainly because of the speed and the fact that it came with a DVD writer. Already installed with Windows XP, I found there was too many programs on there, initially that I didn't want. A quick format of the computer and reinstall of Windows XP left me with a fantastically quick computer. Brilliant. I had the ultimate machine. I was burning DVDs, quickly surfing the internet and creating music using high end production software. Absolutely no slow-downs. The only problem came when I went to play some games.
