bought one of these from a pile in Tesco at the time 389 gbp. This is my 2nd Acer the other one is used as a pc replacement. The only thing i have had to do to each one is add 512mb ram. very easy and relatively cheap. İ use both for work and pleasure and the 2423wmxi is carried around with me. İ use wifi every day and do a lot of photo work on both. İt does everything it saya it will do and is very good value for money.

It served me well through university and when I left I bought this new model 2423. They have both been so reliable. Never faulting, always faster than you! They are great machines, built to last!

The only negative thing I would say is that the plug and play DVD drive has the tendancy to pop out within the case, the switch needs to be a little more robust.
But otherwise, fantastic!
