This is my second laptop after my first HP died on me, and this one seems to be fairing much better. This laptop it abit more substantial compared to the one I previously had both in size and specs. The 15" screen is very clear and colours are bright and well defined, the screen has a gloss finish to it, which at times can cause a little bit of reflection trouble but most of the time is fine. The processor and RAM that ship with this laptop are more than adequate and allow the runnign of most processes to remain smooth. There is also the capacity to take the RAM upto a maximum of 4GB which is a good option if you felt it needed a little more. Really for most things apart from gaming the memory is more than enough. A word on gaming, although the laptop does has an integrated radeon grpahics card, it is of shared memory and as such does not perform as quickly as its desktop counterparts, this can mean that new games may struggle a little with higher grpahics settings. The hard-drive is also a decent size offering enough space to store thousands of music albums and even movies. The laptop also has a dvd writer which works fairly well, not massively fast but burns dvds without too much of an issue. There is also an integrated card-reader located on the side of the laptop which is a useful addition negating the need to buy/use a separate usb cardreader. Only slight downside is the wireless lan transmitter built in, I have suffered some issues with this, whereby it loses connection then is unable to regain this untill you restart the laptop. On a whole a very competent laptop with a multitude of features.
