Advantages: Built in webcam, core 2 duo, windows vista, reliable, hard wearing, good value.

Disadvantages: Low battery life.

I bought this laptop a year ago for about £450 to replace my old Dell laptop. The laptop does have a lot of programmes installed on it, so when I first got it it was a bit slow, but after delating programmes that I did not need, it improved a lot.
Overall the laptop is fairly attractive, the built in web camera allowing the use of skype and messenger and blending in well at the top of the screen. Windows Vista is excellent and compatable with pretty much all of the computer games available on the market.
When watching DVD's and on demand programmes on the internet, the quality of the picture is excellent. There is an SD card slot, so rather than having to plug in your digital camera, you can transfer pictures straight from your SD card.
I tend to be a bit careless when it comes to my possessions, particularly expensive ones, so this laptop has been dropped quite a lot - once even down the stairs! Somewhat surprisingly there are only a few scratches as a result and it works just as well as it did when I first got it.
The only problem I have with it is that the battery only lasts for about an hour at most, sometimes as little as half an hour, even when fully charged although it may just be due to me dropping it!

Summary: Reliable and lasting laptop which I have had no problems with at all!
