Acer Travelmate 5720G-302G16

I have had this laptop for some time now and must say i am very pleased with it. The 1024MB ATI graphics card handles my games excellently and smoothly, running games such as Guild Wars and Halo with no sweat whatsoever. The 160GB harddrive more than fits my needs, with quite a lot of free space still left even after backups of my websites. The keyboard is very comfortable to use with more than adequate space between the keys. Overall the features of this laptop fit my needs perfectly. This laptop is another one from the acer travelmate range . Acer as a laptop company are beginig to grow, and they are now just as well know as a lot of others, but then I first saw then in shops, my first impression, and the impression of others I asked was they seemed a bit of a cheap brand, just like netto is compared to Sainsbury's. however acer have somehow seemed to change peoples minds and even managed to change my mind somehow. I wanted something to replace my desktop so after reading spec. on Acer website I thought this would be ideal. Before you read any further I am no computer wiz, I only know what I like and what I can actually manage to work. It did though take me about ten days on and off of research into laptops, I am quite good at that. I came to the conclusion that large Japanese companies, such as Sony, Toshiba charge around £400.00 straight off just to have their name in your house.
