I got this Laptop as a present about this time last year (August 2008). I had never had a laptop before, and I thought it would be handy to have one for university. I have to say, that this laptop is top notch! The processor/ 2gb ram combination seems to be able to put up with most day to day stresses. The two 160gb harddrives are very useful, which is a lot for laptops. The graphics card, 8400m, is good enough to play most games on low settings, and the processor seems to be able to cope quite well too. Acer Aspire 5720

As a student I chose the laptop which was the least expensive but could perform a number of tasks. I m extremely pleased I purchased the Acer Aspire 5720, it carries out every task in which I bought it for and more. I can load pages up quickly with the 160gb hard drive and also store much more music, pictures etc because of the 2gb memory. I purchased this laptop from Tescos for about £349 it definately is the cheapest in its class with the other laptops boasting much less technology for nearly twice the price!
