I recently purchased this from the Acer website with the extended warrenty. It came on time and the service was perfect. The computer is easily compatible with windows vista and runs smoothly, however on idle, vista uses around 46% of the RAM. This makes no difference when using microsoft word, etc, however when playing games it really has an effect. Also it seems to suffer from the atikmag problem which affects the video card. The atikmag file failes on occasion causing the whole computer to shut down, there is no know fix as yet. Finally the battery is a bit on the weak side, however add on batteries (consult acer website) are avalible, but are on the expensive ...

growing notebook manufacturers. I tried out this lap top for about two weeks after I borrowed it from a friend who brought it over from Holland. Overall I found the Travelmate 7513WSMi notebook to be of exceptional quality but I did not find it that comfortable to use. To be fair this might be just down to the fact that we get use to using certain keyboards and when something new comes along it can feel a bit awkward at first. Nevertheless, I did find the keys a little small and too closely packed together - basically my typing speed slowed considerably when I used this device.
