I m currently writing this review on my Acer 5720. The glossy screen is excellent for watching movies, though if it catches a light reflection, this can be very distracting. The keyboard layout is neat and the mouse scroller has excellent sensitivity USB2.0 output allows you to have highspeed data transfer, whilst the dual core processor will direct performance where needed. The lack of bluetooth was somewhat dissapointing, though a small device off ebay for only £5 resolved this issue. Acer Travelmate 7520G-401G16

I recently purchased this from the Acer website with the extended warrenty. It came on time and the service was perfect. The computer is easily compatible with windows vista and runs smoothly, however on idle, vista uses around 46% of the RAM. This makes no difference when using microsoft word, etc, however when playing games it really has an effect. Also it seems to suffer from the atikmag problem which affects the video card. The atikmag file failes on occasion causing the whole computer to shut down, there is no know fix as yet. This laptop is another one from the Acer Travelmate range . Acer as a laptop company are beginig to grow, and they are now just as well know as a lot of others, but then I first saw then in shops, my first impression, and the impression of others I asked was they seemed a bit of a cheap brand, just like netto is compared to Sainsbury s. however acer have somehow seemed to change peoples minds and even managed to change my mind somehow.
