I wanted something to replace my desktop so after reading spec. on Acer website I thought this would be ideal. Before you read any further I am no computer wiz, I only know what I like and what I can actually manage to work. Acer Travelmate 200DX

I bought my Acer Travelmate 200DX from Dixons about a month ago now. I got £60 knocked off the price through bartering (Always worth trying in shops like this). The Computer has an Intel Celeron 55 Mhz processor, a dissapointing 32Meg Ram, Floppy and Cd Drives, and a 5Gig Hard drive. The machine itself seems fairly fast, although I was hoping it would be faster. It is a good size, easy to carry about, and has an adequate battery life.
