Acer Aspire 6930G ... recently purchased The Sims 3 and was dismayed (but not at all suprised!) when my old Tobisha laptop was unable to run the game. So I was faced with the task of buying a gaming laptop on a budget of £500 to £600, which seemed an impossible task! I literally searched for days to try and find a suitable gaming laptop in my price range until I finally came across The Acer Aspire 6930G. I brought it from Comet for £599. Acer Aspire 6930G ... only reason i had on buying this was that my old laptop was dying because of a huge virus, so i had to get another laptop, this laptop was ideal with its 250GB hard drive and 3GB ram, it also had a 16 inch widescreen to make watching videos a little bit better. When I first started using it seemed fine and nothing wrong had happened, there is no technical fault at all and everything seems fine. Acer Travelmate 7730-842G25N ... for money. The specification of the laptop is very high for the price paid. Its performance for multi tasking is impressive. This is the first time I have purchased what I would consider to be a non big brand laptop and if Im honest it outperforms the more known brands. It is slightly heavy and hasnt got the best battery life. However I personally would rather my laptop was slightly heavy and performed better. The battery life is also not a great issue for me and if you set your power performance settings properly this should not be an issue either.
