Acer Travelmate 7520G-401G16 ... bought this laptop a few weeks ago to replace an old dell laptop i had for 3 years. up to now i am very impressed by the laptop, much faster with a lot of RAM and hard drive space. the processor is good and the general appearance of the laptop is smart. i would reccomend this to computer users who mainly use the internet and music downloads etc, although it would probably be okay running a few low end games. it isnt the smallest laptop you will ever see, but i have seen a lot bigger and heavier than this so it is good compared with a dell vostro and alike. keyboard is comfortable and easy to use unlike a lot i have seen before with tiny enter keys which can get quite an... Acer Aspire 5315 ... laptop comes in at the budget end of the spectrum, retailing generally for under £300 and for this price you would be forgiven for thinking you would be getting a sub-par product. In reality you get a great laptop capable of all but the most demanding uses (video editing and very very high spec games, although I have tried neither) which has a good sturdy feel to it and a very clear widescreen. The keyboard and mouse are easy to use and word processing, internet browsing and gaming are all very easy to do without any noticeable slow down even on my model which has 1GB ram and an 80GB hard drive, as opposed to the specifications of 2GB ram and a 160GB hard drive giv... Acer Aspire 5102AWLMi ... bought this laptop last year. It was the most cost effective one at the time and I feel that it has served me well over the year that i ve had it. One of the major problems for me at the beginning was that vista kept clashing with some of the programs Acer had put on there (like the webcam). After a quick call to the Acer customer services our problems were sorted out (they sent a new disck to load to fix the problems). I think this laptop is perfect for people like me, a student!
