Acer Travelmate 5720-301G16Mi ... bought this laptop a year ago for about £450 to replace my old Dell laptop. The laptop does have a lot of programmes installed on it, so when I first got it it was a bit slow, but after delating programmes that I did not need, it improved a lot. Overall the laptop is fairly attractive, the built in web camera allowing the use of skype and messenger and blending in well at the top of the screen. Windows Vista is excellent and compatable with pretty much all of the computer games available on the market. Acer Aspire 5630 ... purchased this laptop - a beauty piece about 3 years back. And still today it stands like its new! What astonish to me about this product are the durability, reliability and compactness along with robustness. I have never seen a product with features as this and that too during 2006. I had purchased it at 36K INR and today it has dropped its price by 30% at least. But nonetheless I must commit Acer team is at its best in our country now. Coming back to the pros there are whole lot range of features such as Bluetooth options supported with remote audio/hands free headphone. Acer Aspire 7720G-302G32Hi ... got this laptop as a present about this time last year (August 2008). I had never had a laptop before, and I thought it would be handy to have one for university. I have to say, that this laptop is top notch! The processor/ 2gb ram combination seems to be able to put up with most day to day stresses. The two 160gb harddrives are very useful, which is a lot for laptops. The graphics card, 8400m, is good enough to play most games on low settings, and the processor seems to be able to cope quite well too.
