I bought this laptop almost 3 years ago, it will be 3 years on boxing day, and i have used it nearly everyday that i have had it. It has served me well for almost 3 years with minor problems which I have manged to sort out myself.

The Advent 7105 comes with a AMD Sempron 3000 processor which i find to be very quick. It came with a standard RAM of 1Gb which after a year and a half, I manally upgraded it to 2GB, making the laptop work even faster. One thing i haven't changed is the 60GB hardrive because I tend to store all my files on an external USB hardrive.

This laptop is great for gaming, word processing and other normal fuctions. Surfing the internet cannot be any easier, It has a built in wireless recievier so you can connect via WiFi. It also has a DVD drive which not only allows you to play DVDs but also allows you to burn your own DVDs.

Battery life is ok but not great, it use to last for up to 2 and a half hours but nowadays it just gets over the 40 minute mark.

The screen collects a lot of dust from time to time.

Overall a wonderful laptop that has continued to serve me well for years, hopefully it will keep on doing so.
