Advantages: design and build quality

Disadvantages: apple still has trouble on the net, customer support is poor, software product limitations

Well Apple are lovely aren't they but unfortunately their stuff still doesn't work properly on the internet. This laptop is another one of those products which looks nice and is pretty good for professional design work but the limitations of the platform outweigh the benefits.

Any decent pc can do what a mac does these days, the pdf has made design work easier to work with and the range of software is more readily available. Games, for instane, still aren't really produced for the mac platform as they are for the pc. Other significant web programs don't work well either, some banking sites and exchanges such as Betfair won't run at all.

Looks nice and has some cudos but just doesn't work as well as the pc equivalent.

Sorry for the rating but you didn't write about the specific Apple product, just your opinion of Apple in general, and without backing it up really. If you update let me know and I'll take another look.
