Apple iBook G4 Superdrive

This was the first Apple computer that I used and instantly I could tell it was better than a windows pc. If you haven't used an Apple before, it will take a little while to get used to, because you will have become so used to the way microsoft packages work. It is well worth the effort to learn how to navigate an Apple though. I was very impressed with the speed of this computer. Everything works extremely quickly. Also the applications are excellent. I did have to download a word-style package which wasn't included in order to write essays but even this piece of software was easier to use than the microsoft ones. ive owned one of these for about a year now. Being a windows user before i was kind of wary of converting to mac as i was so used to using the interface which everyone prefers. After using this for about a week i kind of though of it as a large ipod, all the features of Mac are ipod like (well they are apple) but i just have come to love the interface, its so easy to use. Once you use a mac i believe it will be hard for you to go back to a pc. Macs are so fast and reliable. This ibook is just under 5 years old and it still runs like a charm even after having a lot of applications piled onto it such as photoshop CS3 which is handles great (if a little lagy at some times) ...  Read the complete review
