Apple MacBook Air MC234B/A ... ultra unlike anything else. But you don't lose inches and pounds overnight. It's the result of rethinking conventions. Of multiple wireless innovations. And of breakthrough design. With MacBook Air, mobile computing suddenly has a new standard.
MacBook Air is nearly as thin as your index finger. Practically every detail that could be streamlined has been. Yet it still has a 13.3-inch widescreen LED display, full-size keyboard, and large multi-touch trackpad. It's incomparably portable without the usual ultraportable screen and keyboard compromises.
The incredible thinness of MacBook Air is the result of numerous size- and weight-shaving innovations. From a slimmer hard drive to strategically hidden I/O ports to a lower-profile battery, everything has been considered and reconsidered with thinness in mind.
MacBook Air performance is as impressive as its form, thanks to its Intel Core 2 Duo processor. This chip was custom-built to fit within the compact dimensions of MacBook Air.

Due mainly to the hard disk being of the Solid State variety (64GB SSD) Apps load almost instantly, with very, very little loading times or hangs between opening and switching applications. This is impressive, considering the Air has only 2GB RAM and a (now old-hat) Core 2 Duo Processor, I was very impressed with the fast operation of the Air in general use. This speed, though, does not always hold true, since performing certain tasks other than simply loading/switching apps, is subject to ...

someone else, but that s okay because I can buy a CD drive off apple for £65 ... so I ve just payed a colossal amount of money for a MacBook Air and now I have to pay an extra £65 just for a CD drive ... where is the logic in that. Then we move on to the performance, the £1,199 is far from brilliant, I find it a bit slow and not quite as good as say the macbook itself and isn t nearly as practical with only an audio output, 1 usb & a micro DVI. So here we are faced with the question of the macbook or the macbook air, and as far as I see I can t see logically how the macbook air is possibly worth the extra £500. So why then is it the top selling mac on the apple ...

or 1.8Ghz) and 2GB RAM which is what most of us need, plus a good standard of video card and a 64GB solid state drive. 3. THE FEATURES: The MacBook Air comes with the built in wireless card you would expect, a built-in web cam and Bluetooth. A backlit keyboard and a brilliant big touch pad mean you can use this anywhere, and the touch pad has all the interactivity of the iPod Touch. 4. THE SCREEN: It has a 13.3 inch HD screen with 1920x1080 resolution. This is backlit, for improved visibility. 5. THE WEIGHT: It only weighs three pounds. 6. THE BATTERY: It has a battery life of up to five hours, even with Wi-Fi on, which is excellent in my view for anything this ...
