Disadvantages: The price (ouch) and issues with windows programs

This fantastic product from Apple almost makes Macintoshes affordable for the average joe, however, whilst being a little pricy as with most apple products, it really is value for money. After years of working on a PC, comes a satisfying relief and joy in a computer that actually works. It does what you tell it to do, when you tell it to, doesn't answer back and leaves you wanting to stroke it rather than smash it and declare your undying love for macs everywhere. The macbook brings simplicity and satisfaction to everyday computing and keeps you stress free whilst working or even just playing. The common misconception that macs are incompatible in just about every way with PCs is a delightful myth. Apple have worked hard to ensure a way of compatibility with almost everything. so for the only issues i know of are .wmv format which can easily be overcome by downloading a piece of safe freeware called VLC, and .exe for applications, but most programs come in an apple alternative. Finally, when the whole world tells you that macs are a pain to use, stick with it because it's actually the contrary, people are put off because they are so different and that can be your hard to get your head round to start off with but in a very short space of time, you'll get used to it and quickly realise that apple's way of doing things is actually far more sensible and makes life a hundred times easier. So in all a excellent buy... if you can afford it.
