Open your MacBook and you're instantly greeted by glorious full screen brightness. Anything you view, including the glossy widescreen display itself, is a spectacular experience. The LED-backlit display is more power efficient. And it's mercury- and arsenic-free, so it's greener than ever. This is my first review so please do read it, I'm also sorry for any spelling mistakes etc since I am dyslexic! Being a young, first time buyer of my own laptop with little money I was faced with the question "Should I go mac or PC?" this is a question which plagues a lot of people, do I go for the more expensive mac or make do with a PC? As a converted mac user I shall now continue to explain why the extra money spent on a mac goes a long way. Lets look at the quality, I've had this mac for about 9 months now and I am yet to find a problem with it, it's solidly made with an fantastic battery life and it looks damn well awesome! Well, it all began when I was 16 years old (now 19). I began working in a computer hardware store, saw this little beauty on display and instantly fell in love. Each day I was at work I would have a play with the features on the MacBook getting increasingly desperate for my chance to own one. In October 2008 my wishes were finally granted, they discontinued this specific MacBook in that month, however thanks to an early Christmas gift and my own savings I managed to scrape enough money together to purchase this beautiful machine. It has been faultlessly reliable, never crashing on me once. It is extremely easy to set-up and use, the ... Read the complete review

Slick and stylish in brilliant black this Macbook is a dream when it comes to handling heavy duty programs such as Photoshop or Dreamweaver. Perfect for graphics, photography, film and web related activities and due to the 'like a brick' nature of the mac's they are near impeneterable when it comes to virus attacks. If you're coming from Windows then it may take some adjusting and don't expect all software to have a Mac version, but most does or there are usually alternatives. Personally i'm a photographer and Web Designer and so really got it for the known reliability for this sort of profession. Running the latest 'Leopard' operating system the ... I bought a macbook because I myself am in the music world as are most of my friends. Macs are the ONLY way to go if you are doing anything with music. The graphics on this computer are great. Macs are great for running music programs such as protools, It is a pretty reliable computer, however, I have had to replace the battery twice due to unexplained issues. Once it wouldn't hold a charge and another time my computer wouldn't recognize it. The design of this computer is great. It is sleek and very easy to carry around unlike a lot of pcs that are extremely bulky. Macs never get viruses, and their performance is great. Other than the issues with the ...
