Advantages: Don't get viruses, good graphics, good for music projects

Disadvantages: Not compatable with windows software, speakers aren't loud enough

I bought a macbook because I myself am in the music world as are most of my friends. Macs are the ONLY way to go if you are doing anything with music. The graphics on this computer are great. Macs are great for running music programs such as protools, It is a pretty reliable computer, however, I have had to replace the battery twice due to unexplained issues. Once it wouldn't hold a charge and another time my computer wouldn't recognize it.

The design of this computer is great. It is sleek and very easy to carry around unlike a lot of pcs that are extremely bulky.
Macs never get viruses, and their performance is great. Other than the issues with the battery that I had, I have had no other major issues with this computer.

There are a couple of issues that I personally have with Macs altogether. The speakers on this computer are not very loud so if you plan on listening to music with your computer to be able to hear it on a macbook you will need computer speakers or headphones because the full volume is pretty low. Also, I have had a lot of compatability problems with programs that are only compatible with Windows.
