Well, it all began when I was 16 years old (now 19).
I began working in a computer hardware store, saw this little beauty on display and instantly fell in love.
Each day I was at work I would have a play with the features on the MacBook getting increasingly desperate for my chance to own one.

In October 2008 my wishes were finally granted, they discontinued this specific MacBook in that month, however thanks to an early Christmas gift and my own savings I managed to scrape enough money together to purchase this beautiful machine.

It has been faultlessly reliable, never crashing on me once.
It is extremely easy to set-up and use, the computer practically talks you through everything you need to do and helps you do it.
It comes with built in wi-fi and blu tooth which have been invaluable whilst on the move, itunes comes as standard so any iPhone or iPod owners out there, this is perfect for you.
It has been said before if you can use iTunes you can use a Mac, and while that is probably 80% true I'd say at the very most it would take around one day of usage to become completely comfortable with Mac software and hardware.

It is much faster than a lot of 3 or 4GB machines on the windows operating system and the battery life is a fantastic 5-6 hours if on the lowest brightness setting.

All in all I'd say 100% go for a MacBook for your next laptop, especially this one, as now it is discontinued the price for them has plummeted!
