FANTASTIC!!!
Ever since having migrated from the pain that is Microsoft Windows a few years back I can truly say I will never ever buy another computer that isn't a Mac. They are truly fantastic. I first bought one because macs have better foreign language input methods. For example, to type ç on a mac, just hold down alt and press c, on a pc you would have to press down alt, (and on a laptop num lock) and the digits 135. Albeit, quite a silly reason to buy a mac seeing how expensive they are, but I needed it. (New macs with a multi-touch trackpad let you write chinese characters with your fingers!)
Anyways, the mac book pro. My advice to anyone wanting to buy one of these should wait until September 09, Apple are releasing their new OS X, Snow Leopard then, and you don't want to buy one now, and have to upgrade come September, although you will be able to do this for free if you bought your Mac after June 09, all you will have to pay would be for the postage and packaging of the new OS (£7.50 I believe). Oh and don't forget, if you're a student either buy your mac instore and present your student card or buy online from the apple student store.
