CHECK OUT MY UPDATE AT THE END OF THIS REVIEW, I M FAR FROM IMPRESSED!!! I received my Apple MacBook for Christmas 2008 and have enjoyed using it for many of its features. The MacBook itself is a lovely compact size with a 13" screen, and looks very stylish in white with the Apple logo on the lid of the MacBook which lights up when in use. The screen is bright and the colours are amazingly bright and deep. The icons for different applications and programs are set at the bottom of the screen for ease of use. One thing I found strange about the MacBook was not having a right click button on the mouse. Being used to PCs, I found this difficult at first but ...

Ok, so I ll be honest - I m not exactly a techie. And it wasn t just the reputation of the MacBook that called out to me, but the stylish design and the kudos. But I ve had this model for two years now and I don t have one complaint. The look and feel are beyond reproach, it s fast, it s reliable...I use it mainly for word processing and e-mail, so I d suggest that if you re a big game player you might opt for the higher memory model. I uploaded The Sims 3 onto it and it ran, but only just! (and Mac games are pricey!). As a student I mainly use it for research and word processing, and in this respect it s ideal. The widescreen means you can easily have two documents up at ...
