Advantages: dual graphics card
Disadvantages: expensive, little heavier and nothing else
We are very much familiar with the word 'laptop'.They are visible almost everywhere, more often in movies and TV advertisements. And this Apple's MacBook Pro is very much synonymous to it.This Apple product is much apple in itself. With a minimal design and perfect finish, this Book claims a lot more than just an attention.
The new new Pros is heavily inspired by the MacBook Air casing and some internal changes. New graphics chips, completely new motherboard design and a radical new trackpad. The great news about the product is its budget oriented price and the method of its production. The MacBook Pro is carved out of a solid block of aluminum, making it yet lighter, stronger, smooth and the top of all more environment friendly machine.
Although the MacBook appears to be very slim and vulnerable. But i would suggest people to change their mind immediately, because its really as tough as shown in advertisements. And this can be easily felt while pressing the keyboards.
The glass coated trackpad adds its beauty with a perfect style. The trackpad is forty percent larger than the old ones and works even better. The in-built mouse buttons are smooth enough to handle. And its not all, the trackpad comes with a privilege of four finger swipe, just like the multi-touch enabled iPhones.Isn't this great...
The stunning bright 17" LED- display sports a shiny, piano black colour, much like the iMacs. Right now we have only one choice of glossy, which suffers from glare in brightly-lit places, and is downright irreverent for most graphic designers.
The latest updates of the hard wares have been installed under the hood and genuinely much improved.Core2 Duo processor and faster internals overall with faster memory and a faster front-side bus are just capable enough to handle all that a user crowds. It integrates two graphics Nvidia processors- and integrated chip that is also used in the new MacBook and MacBook Air, and an Nvidia 9600M GT with 256or 512 MB of discrete video RAM.The two chips are provided for better performance. The laptop works on the integrated chips by default, which can be switched by the user to the more powerful 9600M GT, if more graphics clarity is required.
Its very handy with high-configuration-requiring soft wares. With this model, Apple also made it easier to access some of its internal hard wares. So a user has future option of upgrading with drives and memory as well.
The battery life depends on its usage. If less power hungry graphics card is used, then the system gives a satisfactory and double performance than the more power hungry one.
Now time for the conclusion,
The price isn't attractive enough for people with nominal budgets. Its meant for the well-heeled people.'''A missing Blue-ray drive could have claimed its expensiveness'''. The new addition of mini Display Port isn't much success to it, since Apple failed to bundle an adapter for the conventional DVI along with the accessories.'The model is also heavier than the usual models.
The Apple MacBook Pro can be a right choice for those who don't need extra graphics card and smaller screen.
