I was the only member of my family who did not own an apple mac but stuck with my faithful old dell laptop. I had got to the stage where I couldn't unplug it or it switched off and was bored of buying anti virus software which inevitably mall functioned or needed updating every 5minutes.

I was concerned that apple mac would be difficult for me as I do many presentations at work where they use dell laptops and traditional software and was worried about files converting wrong and powerpoint slides missing pictures. I was also concerned that the laptop would not work with my printer.


The apple mac has been wonderful it is lightweight and connects to the internet soooo fast! It also loads quickly which is great in a hurry. The battery lasts for a long time and the charger is an excellent length thus reaching almost wherever you are.

I have found that if I save documents and power point presentations in the older format (which is an option) I can access them from work easily. I have slowly learnt to undo a couple of my old ideas and am getting used to the mac way.
