On battery it works for up to 4 hours without wifi and with screen bright to a minimum. with regular screen bright, wifi and a usb mouse it delivers 2:30 hours (at least for me) working with one virtual machine and some regular network traffic. Great to see DVD, but only delivers 90 minutes, so, you will have to be very selective with your movies choice. Great machine, performs great for network administration tasks. Also used for some VB Express and ASP .Net development. Works flawless with Virtual PC solutions, and was able to have 2 virtual machines running at the same time. Upgraded RAM to 2GB and HDD to 320 GB, this one really outperforms other machines.
