Advantages: Battery Life, sturdy, dual layer DVD burner, very reliable.

Disadvantages: hard drive space, low initial memory

Great machine, performs great for network administration tasks. Also used for some VB Express and ASP .Net development. Works flawless with Virtual PC solutions, and was able to have 2 virtual machines running at the same time. Upgraded RAM to 2GB and HDD to 320 GB, this one really outperforms other machines. On battery it works for up to 4 hours without wifi and with screen bright to a minimum. with regular screen bright, wifi and a usb mouse it delivers 2:30 hours (at least for me) working with one virtual machine and some regular network traffic. Great to see DVD, but only delivers 90 minutes, so, you will have to be very selective with your movies choice. Overall, this is a great budget machine, and after some time you can still upgrade it and have it working for a longer time. If it is on your reach, it is not as portable as a netbook, but it is as affordable, with a better screen and with the goods of a DL DVD Burner.
