good as this laptop is I have had a few problems with it over the last 2 years which luckily the 2 year warranty that came as standard covered and Asus fixed it quite quickly, the first problem I had was after around a year when the back light for the screen failed which was due to a wire breaking that feeds from the laptop up to the screen. The second time I had to send it away for repair was just before the 2 year mark when the power supply totally failed and also burnt out the motherboard which they replaced for free.
