When I had first heard that ASUS was producing laptops, I was surprised as I had only seen motherboards from them. But this laptop is a seriously competitive piece of hardware. This laptop has mostly everything- a good processor, 3 GBs of RAM, which is a killer for a 500$ laptop. The 250 GB HDD can be extended, so it does not pose much of an issue. It also provides a decent gaming resource graphics card which is usually missing from a lot of laptops. The Ethernet port is also damn fast and data transfer becomes a cinch.
