I got the Asus X5DC free with my mobile phone contract back in March. From using it for a bit i can say it isn t that bad since i got it free. But if i had to pay for a laptop, I would definatly look at other options. It does have a fair amount of programs pre loaded and also it does have a decent and fast antivirus software. But it s not the the laptop i would like to use as a entertainment gadget (playing games and watching vids). It is more of a business tool. So if you have a job whch requires you to move about and you need a laptop, this will be perfect for you. The Pros Large screen Decent battery life Nice spaced out keyboard layout The Cons Poor internal ...

The speed is spot on for me though so I am very happy with the laptop. The main point is the price was very low when I bought, and it was miles better quality wise than all the others in the same cost bracket. ...

This is the baby that i am writing this from. It S bought as a "bare bone" laptop and fitted with whatever suits you most. I have a Intel Core Duo T2600 2.16GHz L2 2MB Cache 667FSB 2GB DDR-2 SDD RAM 80GB SATA Hard Drive 7200RPM ATI Mobility Radeon x1600 256MB + 256MB VM (virtual memory) This laptop is great. It s fast and can pretty much handle anything you through at it. It s screen even though being 15,4" is descent for watching films and playing video games. Have faced some problems though with it s built-in camera, because of the drivers. The company knows all about it but nothing can be done as it s now quite old, if you consider how fast new ...
