came on. I contacted Asus as the laptop comes with a standard 2 year guarentee, they organized to come pick the laptop up and take it off for repair with no problems. Turned out I didn t need to send it off as there was no problem, and hasn t been thus far. (Touch wood!) It s just nice to know if a fault ever did develop, there would be no problem getting it sorted. I use it fine for games (although not on max settings) perfect for browsing, watching movies, doing work on. The wireless is perfect, it has never dropped signal once. Battery life is quite good although I use it plugged in most the time. Overall, great laptop. Very good specs, very good price. I recommend ...

This review is of the relatively new Asus EEE pc. Its been quite fun using and reviewing this one as its not like your usual laptops, and in many ways its a lot worse however at the end of testing it iv got to say I really like the asus EEE pc and however rubbish it might be I think I will end up buying one if some of the features just improve a little or if the higher spec editions become cheaper. I m reviewing the cheapest version of the EEE pc as it s the one most people would choose to buy. It think if I was going to purchase any of them I would want the best one however as its only something I would use on journeys it simply wouldn t be worth all my money so id have ...
Asus Eee PC 4G

that with such a low price comes low performance. You would be wrong here as the Eee has some specs that even with similar UMPS. The processor is an intel Celeron 1GHZ, the ram is 512mb (though it can easily be upgraded to £20, there are many videos on youtube to show you how), the screen is 7 inches wide, I am not sure what video and graphics cards are here and unfortunately there is no optical drive because of the small size. There is only a 4GB memory, but than easily and cheaply be upgrade by putting a 32GB SDHC card into the slot on the side for £50 from amazon. The Eee is extremely light, so much in fact that it does not even come up to a kilogram in weight. The ...
