... the the laptop i would like to use as a entertainment gadget (playing games and watching vids). It is more of a business tool. So if you have a job whch requires you to move about and you need a laptop, this will be perfect for you.
The Pros
Large screen
Decent battery life
Nice spaced out keyboard layout
The Cons
Poor internal speakers
Wifi connection breaks quite often
The processor is not that great - can not multi task without the system freezing/lagging
The screen flickers a lot.

bought my laptop last year, one of the best items of technology i've bought in a while, great navigation around the laptop, doesn't get to hot, easy to use with all the essential programs

I got the Asus X5DC free with my mobile phone contract back in March. From using it for a bit i can say it isn't that bad since i got it free. But if i had to pay for a laptop, I would definatly look at other options. It does have a fair amount of programs pre loaded and also it does have a decent and fast antivirus software. But it's not the the laptop i would like to use as a entertainment gadget (playing games and watching vids). It is more of a business tool.
