Fujitsu Siemens Amilo A7620 ... got it - its the best... About 2 years now never had any problem and it is very stable and fast with all the applications and games i have on. The battery time is ok though i would like some more extra work hour. All the features are everything a power user needs and with the AMD cpu you have no needs. Acer Aspire 1355LC ... currently own an Aspire 1355LC. I am very happy with it as it does what any normal computer is expected to do. It is also compact and reasonably easy to carry around with you. The screen is very easy on the eyes. The screen is 15" It also contains a DVD player/CD-RW all in one. They contain about 40 GB There are 4 USB ports All together the laptop only weighs about 3.6Kg I personally find that if I need to go on the laptop for a long period of time, then it gets too hot and turns off completely. Acer Aspire 1355LC ... acer aspire laptop is definitley the perfect replacement for a home desktop system.I decided to downsize my desktop pc 9 months ago and havent regreted it since.I bought one of these laptops direct from the manufacturers website for about 700 pounds and in my local pc store i was quoted around £950.thats quite a saving! This model hosts an AMD xp-mobile 2600 + processer which is reliable and in my opinion as good as a pentium 4(though notr as fast).The screen is of great quality the battery will power the system for about 2 hours.
