	Dell Inspiron 1720 ... i walk in to a pc store and i am aproached by a slimy looking sales guy that looks like he is bunking off school and he starts on about ram and giga this bit and im just looking at these laptops saying the silver ones are nice IS THAT THE PRICE!!! So my wife then scrapes me off the floor and i say " what about the vtech first computer we got him for christmas , it only needs new batteries. 	Dell Inspiron 1525 ... my girlfriend s laptop needed a replacement I thought I d surprise her and buy her one as a gift. The Dell 1525 was available for a good price (under £300 from the Dell outlet) with a spec that wasn t too shocking (120GB hard drive, 1GB RAM, 1.73 GHz Dual Core processor). If you ve seen Inspirons in the past, they re really kind of ugly, but the 1525 is a real improvement on this. Also, it s available in places like Tesco, so you can take a look before you buy, just to make sure! As part of the improvement in appearance, you have a choice of skins for the lid of your laptop.
