Advantages: Good price for brand name Computer.

Disadvantages: Could get better if you look abit harder.

This machine is a new notebook brought out buy Compaq, first looks don't look too impressive, but for its price it is rather low for a brand name computer. The specifications for the compaq Armada E500 are pretty standard, with a 600MHz Pentium III speedstep processor, a usual 128Mb of memory and a 12Gb hard disk, plus a 4x DVD-ROM drive which actually a bit slow nowadays. The performance could be better in comparison with other Pentium III 650 based computers. The price for this computer is good but if you search a bit harder you could find something a lot better, maybe not a brand name but you could get faster.
