Advantages: Compaq-t & lush.

Disadvantages: Need to DL a file for the modem to work well.

I've had my laptop for about 4 months now, and although I had problems at first, I solved them all now.

When I went on the net I could never connect for more than 5 minutes. But after having downloaded a file from the compaq site for the modem, I don't have any problems anymore now.

Other than that I have not had any other problems. It is easy to use better speakers than the build-in ones by using the headphone socket. There are two USB out puts, LPT1, mouse and screen out puts on the back. Also, there are two PCI sockets on the side to use an LAN card or anything else.

It's a pitty that you don't get Excel with the notebook. I think it should be a standart on every computer.

The notebook looks good, and the keys press well and the touchpad mouse is very good.

Summary:
