Advantages: good price,good spec, mouse touch-pad

Who ever would have thought, just a few years ago, that it was possible to buy a good spec laptop computer for less than £1000!
My machine has a pentium 3 processor, 5.6gb HD, 32 meg RAM, CD Rom, Floppy disk drive and built in 56k modem, as well as having a memory expansion slot and preloaded software including Windows 98, Works 2000 and Word 2000!
All this for only £899 at PC World!
They had 3 different makes/models of laptop for this price but the Compaq had been reduced from £999 and I preferred it because it also has a mouse touch-pad which, although at first I was unsure about, now I love it!!!
If you want a laptop for any purpose, I highly recommend this machine.
