though it's not light to lugg around, the 1800 does everything your desktop does (in the office) and better. The DVD is excellent, the graphics fast, it's got all the ports you need, and the screen, at 15' is the most stunning feature. The keyboard is well laid out, the touchpad sensitve, and when you've no mouse at hand, you'll be working just as well. Unmissable. Sound is acceptable for a laptop. and with network card inside, fast modem, and all, you'll not have need for added cards. The internet zone keys are probably a waste of time. the battery seems fairly long lasting. The proceesor at PIII 600 is acceptable even for graphicas APP.s, and a HD of 12 gigs is going to take a while to be cramped.
