Are you in the market for a laptop that meets your everyday demands and wont break your wallet.
If thats the case then you should check out Compaqs Presario CQ57. It packs a nice 15.6" display packed with an energy efficient power supply that is the E-450 APU, and this can be all yours for the easy price of €330 leaving you with money left in your wallet to purchase other computer upgrades.
Unless your a console fanatic or have the latest smartphone you probably wont need all the high luxury upgrades that are equipped with these devices instead most users use there laptop for everyday surfing the web and checking emails here and there. To power this budget friendly laptop it is powered by an energy-efficient Fusion APU from AMD's E range enhanced with a 500 gb memory capacity and 4 gigabytes of Ram. Although not the fastest setup what it excels at is lower power consumption allowing you to use your laptop for longer hours of use during those cold summer nights while studying for the latest exam in school.
At first glance you will notice a somewhat boring plastic black coat with a glossy finish on top that is a fingerprint magnet, not the cleanest case if your on the always on the go, if so you will definitely leave smudges all on top. Rather than focusing on design the manufacturer focused on the functionality.
This laptop is very useful for the typical everyday user, for me I was able to surf the web with the latest browsers while listening to my favorite mp3s and it showed no lag. Although I would definitely recommend to upgrade the hard drive to an SSD as this upgrade alone could speed it up 3x fold. The standard .3 megapixel camera allowed me to take personal pics of myself and post them to Myspace to show off to my friends. Although not the best of quality compared to my smartphones camera it did the job and I wasn't dissapointed. One of the downfalls was that the laptop was installed with windows vista, I would have preffered to at least get windows 7.
All and all I would definitely recommend this laptop for those looking to spend around €330 it did the job and I am very impressed.
