I bought this Laptop as a replacement to the small netbook that I had been using for travelling with work, which had unfortunately decided to pack in. I made the decision to go for a larger laptop, that would allow me to work all the time and this Compaq was on offer in my local shop. I compared it with a couple of other similarly priced laptops (under £400) and found that the Compaq had the best specifications for the price. Compaq is a sub division of HP so you know from the name that this will be a serious piece of kit. The word is quality; everything about this Laptop is stylish and sleek. The case is black and silver and when first bought shines like you wouldn t believe, a few days in though you realise it is a finger print and scratch magnet. Personally this doesn t bother me but I can imagine most people won t like scratching their brand new laptop. insurance company finally delivered my Compaq CQ61 401SA to my front door......... at first i won t lie i was a litle dissapointed simply because it was not my old Laptop whihc was still only a year old at the time it was stolen. However after 10 minutes with the compaq i was a reformed individual.
