Compaq Presario CQ60-212EM ... Compaq Presario CQ60 has proved to be very good value for money. I paid £380 in January 09 and it has worked perfectly since. The wireless has a good range and the screen quality is outstanding. Everything else works how it should and the only real negative is a not-so-great battery life (approx 2 hrs on power saver). All in all, good for games (mine has a separate graphics card - not sure if standard?), word processing, internet and general use. One thing I particularly like is the larger screen size that results from having an integrated number pad on the keyboard. However the larger size does result in a heavy laptop. Compaq Presario CQ60-212EM ... personally find this laptop has got big enough ram 1 gb /hard drive 120gb, to suit me, and i do use the laptop for a good three or four hours a day. The HP software that comes with the laptop is very good, the Hp Total Care advisor gives you alot of information about your laptops performance. There are 3 usb ports, a memory card reader, dvd re-writer, and ethernet connection port aswell as others, but i dont use the other ones. The screen is a good size, 16 inch i think. And there is good quality sound coming from the speakers, which is a good bonus. If i had to complain about one thing, it would be the battery life. Compaq Evo Notebook N410c ... have owned this cute litte laptop for about 2 years now and it has never let me down. It is small, compact and very easy to use and carry. I also use it as my cd player and just plug in my speakers. I would not swap for a modern model as it does everything I need and is fantastic for the kids to use as there first computer. My son is four and loves playing games on it. The laptop can be used with or without the docking station and when used by its self is very slim and light. I have added more memory to mine due to the way I use it but this is not needed for day to day use. The downside is the battery is not great and has been changed 3 times now but I still have...
