Compaq Evo Notebook N200 ... have had the evo N200 now for almost 3 years. It is a wonderful little machine, it is very versatile in size, weight, and capabilities. It has fulfilled my expectations in everything I wanted a laptop for, however if you are a gamer, then I would advize against the N200, as it only has an 8mb video card, which isn t enough for alot of the newer games. With it being lightweight, thin and small(fitting perfectly onto a standard size mousemat when closed-but does not feel this size when open, it feels bigger) it is hassle free to carry around. Compaq Presario 724EA ... Presario 724EA I bought this Notebook when I lived in Belgium. It originally came in French but a quick telephone call to the Compaq customer services and they sent me the Rescue CDs in English. I paid about 1000 euros (which was about £700 at the time) for it 3 years ago. The speed of the Compaq Presario 724EA is 1.2 GHz and it s AMD Duron, which made it unbelievable fast 3 years ago and still is about the same as the PC I use now. The notebook is 31.5 cm x 26.9 cm x 4.2 cm in dimension and weighs about 3 kilograms. It s black with a silver edging and it has the emblem COMPAQ in the middle of the laptop case. Compaq Armada M300 ... bought the Compaq Armada M300 as a Christmas present for our 13 year old daughter, mainly for 2 reasons, to run Microsoft Encarta to enable her to do her HOMEWORK! And to run the Sims, she’d been asking for this for about 2 years and we were loathed to load it on the family’s computer for fear that nobody else would get a look in! The Computer, we found on E-Bay for £145 plus £18 postage, we were not particularly looking for a Compaq, but rather any Laptop that had a processor that met the Sims minimum requirement ( that being PII 300).
