I cannot highlight enough what a realy good computer this Inspiron 1525 is, I have had this for 4 years now and it still runs without any problems.I purchased more memory and put in a bluetooth card 6 months after purchasing.It does everything I ask of it and it just purrs away happily.The screen is bright and clear with good colours, the battery lasts even now for upto 1 hour on the minimum settings.The DVD still whirls away happily when playing a DVD disc.Connection to my internet is via the WiFi card built in without any problems.I recommended this Laptop to my friends and family and they asked me to purchase one on their behalf and again they are happy with their purchase, I love Dell computers and always recommend them to my friends and family members.I have since purchased a windows 7 64 OEM disc from dell and built my own i5 Desktop pc, i know its not a Dell make but i built it for much less than any manufacturer would charge.Dell have a good reputationfor quality computers and i cannot see how any person has issues with their pc's from Dell.I keep my Laptop up to date with the drivers from Dell and keep the clutter of software to a mnimum.
I am happy with Dell and will continue to purchase from them for people i know.
The sound from this Laptop is poor, it would have been nice to have bigger/Louder speakers built in but because of the build quality and reliability this machine has i can live without the Loudness of the speakers as i just plug in my external speakers instead.
