I have found the Dell Inspiron 15 to be a great laptop. It runs Windows Vista. For travel it provides a basis for me to work, to pass time watching a movie or to work on my personal items as well. It runs my personal applications perfectly. The high resolution screen makes watching video pleasurable. I have actually purchased two of the Inspiron 15 series. A 15R for my son to use. It is still running great and has not had an issue so far. I am not completely satisfied with my laptop. It heats up very fast and will just shut down. I have bought the most popular and best fans for it and still overheats and shuts down. The computer is now being used by my 20 year old autistic son and due to the heating issues, it is very frustrating for him.

I have had my Dell 1525 for two year now. It has generally been great for what I need- Web Browsing, Streaming and general word Processing, although it would struggle with gaming etc. However I have been having issues with the Power Cable. It has been temperamental for a while- I needed to fiddle with it to get it to start charging., and ... Read the complete review

When I turned 21, I asked my Dad for a new laptop as mine was dated, slow and was basically ready for recycling. I knew I wanted a Dell as I have always had brilliant experiences with Dell laptops and computers when using others, and my old laptop was an ancient Dell. I wasn't too sure which one I wanted to get as I knew I needed ... Read the complete review

I've found this laptop to be a good, fairly cheap laptop, although unfortunately it is lacking in some areas. - The Product - When I brought this laptop everything came ready installed, all I had to do was turn it on. The first few laptops I owned were all Dell products, and I have found that they've all been quite similar. Generally speaking, they are all very well built and solid pieces of equipment, and when I've had any problems with them, the people I've spoken to in their help departments have always been very helpful and been able to address my ... I have been using this laptop for ~4 months. It is very easy to use, quick and looks great! Something i find particularly important is a laptop, is that it isn't too noisy to use. i do most of my work in libraries to this is vital. The mouse 'click' isn't loud at all and the mouse itself has a very good feel and is easy to use. I ... Read the complete review

Well When I first got this laptop it was great I had no problems with it. It was not until a 6/8 months later I realized my integrated webcam was not working; the light was no longer on and it just kept telling my to re connect my webcam. (of course it is integrated in my laptop so how could I re-connect it?) After doing some research ... Read the complete review

I bought this a month ago and thought I'd wait a little a bit before I wrote a review. Essentially this does exactly what it says on the tin and that's the best thing about it! My experience with Dell has been awful. Have had nothing but problems with both laptops. Customer service reps are very rude and uncooperative. I paid 250 bucks to replace a shattered screen that was not covered by the warranty and not even a week after I got the product back the screen shattered again simply by closing it. The screen on my husbands also shattered and the plastic on the side is cracked. Very poorly built. Neither of us have been rough with them, actually they never get moved and hardly get used. Customer service hung up on us after we spoke to several different people. We have had these for less then 6 months and have nothing but problems. We have also put over 1000 dollars into them and now one of them does not work at all. Awful product and awful service.
