Advantages: Windows vista very suprised how good it is

Disadvantages: speakers sound a bit tinny

All-Around Performance of the Dell Inspiron 1525 is very good, this is my personal Laptop as appose to my works Laptop which is also a Dell.
I must say the spec on this laptop a few years ago would have cost you £1000.00 which show how prices have gone down, and the specs have gone up
I bought mine from Asda, actually i went back a week later and bought one for my wife as well, she also finds it very easy to use.

Spec, not in great depth

The 1525 has exceptional wireless, movie, and mainstream multi-media experience, with the slim Inspiron 1525 laptop.
The Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T7250
Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium
15.4" Wide Screen XGA+ display with TrueLife
120 GB memory
Weight 5.9lbs (2.7kg)
Width: (35.7cm)
Height: (2.5cm) front - (3.7cm) back
Depth: (25.6cm)

Software

I must say i am a XP person and never really used Vista and i am pleasently suprised, its easy to use very clear and does everything with ease, from controlling the way software products are displayed to the easy file management system, music and video/multimedia is really easy use on the 1524.

Battery life: is very good, 4 and half hours
Battery lead: and adaptor very sturdy well manufactured
Screen: very clear, bright adequate adjustments
Overall look: Modern looking nice colour grey and black, other colours are optional from Dell but not at Asda
Keyboard: Very nice keys are very smooth, clear letters are nice and big.
Additional Software: Usual 30 day Antivirus sotware, but lots and lots of pre installed software games, windows in general, accessories.
Speakers: I suppose my only negative a bit tinny, could be better, but with headphones their great.
Internet/wireless: Great very easy
Setup: Very easy it took my wife 10 minutes and she was on the internet, my wife does not use computers usually.
Security: Above average features i think and easy to use

So overall i am very please with the 1525 and highly reccomend it, whether you go to Asda or Dell direct its up to you, but for me i have got myself a great Laptop

Thanks For reading my Review
