The Dell Inspiron 1525 looks stylish and modern. I have had this laptop for almost a year now and I have not had any major problems. The battery power lasts for hours, so the laptop can be used easily whilst travellling or during a power cut! The computer setup is easy to navigate through and easy to setup. However Windows Vista has had many compatibilty problems, with certain DVDs and PC games. However, if these are loaded onto a memory stick first, they can be easily set up on your laptop. I have personally also had problems with crashing and jamming of the computer. When I open, for example many microsoft word documents, the laptop becomes slow and frequently jams, although the mouse cursor is able to move, I am unable to click for several minutes. Also, sometimes I have had problems with the computer when it restarts itself automatically when a problem occur and dumps its memory, which is very annoying, but your documents are recovered. I have a webcam built into my laptop which also works very well and I have had no problems with the programmes already set-up on the computer. I have not had any problems with the keys or physicality of the computer. But the laptop is easy to use, however I would strongly advise someone who uses their computers frequently to perhaps choose a more reliable option for the price.
