Advantages: Well made, easy to use

Disadvantages: Power connection not very secure.

I purchased this laptop to use at university, have had it for the last 6 months. During this time the laptop has very competently dealt with word processing, internet, video audio and even dated games like Counterstrike.

The computer is well designed and light, the only issues being that the mouse buttons sometimes stick and the power cable can be knocked out easily if the laptop is moved.

The 2gb memory seems to cope well with Vista, although I intend to revert back to XP to improve preformance further. The laptop was a breeze to set up, I still haven't looked at the instructions so no prior computer knowledge is needed. Battery life is fairly good, can get 2 hours word processing but probably won't last a dvd.

All in all I am very pleased with the laptop, and as I picked it up for £350 from Tesco it compares favourably both in terms of performance, build quality and manufacturer standards so I would happily recommend it for general household computing.

Summary: Great value for money, good performance and looks.
