Advantages: Stylish, ease of use, multi-functional
Disadvantages: Problems, problems, problems
I love this laptop, but unfortunately have to admit I've had a few problems and its only 9 months old.
Firstly the advantages of this laptop is: it's pretty stylish with a range of colours and patterns to choose from. I have used the laptop for a variety of reasons - surf the web, do my coursework and play games with little problem (though some games are incompatible, though I think this is down to Windows Vista rather than the actualy laptop). Its easy to use, and comes with a Dell Technical Support portal in which you have a variety of ways that you can contact their support... unfortunately I've had to use this twice so far which brings me to the disadvantages.
The first problem I have had is that the dvd slot cover keeps coming off. I have'nt reported this because its not so much of a problem as it effects my working on the computer. Secondly I had trouble connecting to the internet wirelessly and had to use the Technical Support. The tech support was very helpful and even ring you back to check everything is OK after helping you. Lastly, the problem that has annoyed me the most is that my batterry charger has stopped working. I've contacted Dell by email about this, but no response as yet...
In summary I would say that this is a useful, light, lpretty aptop, but it does not come without its problems.
Summary: Probably most appropriate for a light-medium user
