Advantages: cheap, looks good, free upgrade offers

Disadvantages: not enough ram, slow for vista on some specs

After having this laptop for almost a year now i feel its done me well, but there has been many times where I have wanted to throw it down the stairs, why? because it came with windows vista - and the standard specs of this laptop are not good enoguh to smoothly run this laptop.

Anyway, onto the laptop.
Its fairly light, only weighing 5.9 lbs so is fairly portable.
Screen size is 15.4", with the option of either TruLife of matte monitor, I got the trulife as a free upgrade - which is a realy nice screen but happens to reflect everything off of it which can get fairly irritating at times!

Standard hard drive size of 120gb, standard graphics adapter (will handle most games).

The battery that came wiht mine was the 6 cell, when i first got it on the lowest power setting i could get 6 and a 1/2 hours out of it, obviously its a bit less now. You can get a 9 cell battery for a bit extra but it stick out a bit from the laptop so i didnt get it.

Mke sure you go for 2gb ram if you are going to be running windows vista, or it will slow your computer down a lot!

Overall II feel this laptop is good for everyday use for documents and web surfing, but if you want to do more advanced stuff like music recording, use adobe product etc etc then you'd need to up the specs a bit.
Or just get a mac.
